When you create a passport, we collect your email address and basic profile information (such as your chosen display name and age) to secure your account. We also store data regarding your in-app activity, specifically the restaurants you "stamp" and the digital passport covers you unlock.

Your data is used strictly to provide and improve the NYC Eats experience. This includes syncing your collected stamps across devices, sending necessary account alerts (like 6-digit login codes), and verifying in-app purchases. We do not sell your personal data to third-party marketing firms.

Offline Stamping: If you use the app while disconnected from the internet, your stamp data is stored locally on your device. It will automatically sync to our secure cloud servers the next time you open the app with an active connection.

Account Deletion: You have the right to completely erase your digital footprint. You can initiate a complete deletion of your account, including all collected stamps and profile data, directly from the app's settings menu. Please note that active App Store subscriptions must be canceled directly through your Apple ID settings.
